As the Client considered how to standardise communication and develop a sense of unity across its residential aged care centres, they knew that aligning business goals with a great experience was key. We pulled it off by developing site specific and corporate newsletters -each sought to achieve a single, measurable goal.
A significant improvement in open and subscription rates were fuelled by an intense understanding of their target reader and a team of writers that was eager to make it work.
Another performance indicator was readership, which grew by 35% at care staff level and by 12.5% at management level. The newsletter became an important way to motivate the team to be happy at the they did, it helped improve the performance of the workforce and was an important tool to keep the team in the loop on the company’s policies, activities, services, social events and other company news.
